Claire Brown

 

Claire Brown is the General Manager Transport and Civil Services with the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics in the Northern Territory.

Claire was born and raised in the Katherine region of the Northern Territory and is passionate about driving the sustainable economic and social advancement of the Territory and regional Australia. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the fields of primary production, land management, land development and planning and transport and civil services.

As General Manager Transport and Civil Services, Claire oversees the Northern Territory’s transport system from design, development and management of transport infrastructure, and the regulation and licencing of people and vehicles who use the transport network.  

Claire understands the challenges and opportunities that comes with living and doing business in regional Australia - and makes sure this regional voice is heard and considered at a national level.
