NTRO has gained representation on the International Forum for Heavy Vehicle Transport and Technology (IFFHVTT) board.
Dr Daniel Ainalis - NTRO Senior Technology Leader, Sustainability and Materials Performance – was nominated and appointed to the board alongside five other new members at the recent 17th International Symposium on Heavy Vehicle Transport & Technology in Brisbane.
Daniel presented at the Symposium, giving a talk titled Decarbonising the UK’s Heavy Goods Vehicles: Lessons from the UK for Australia.
The IFFHVTT aims to promote and support the development of road freight transport technology, safety and policy and to facilitate information exchange between researchers, policymakers, regulators, road agencies and the transport industry.
Daniel brings to his new board role extensive experience leading and working on numerous national and international projects related to sustainable road transport and freight.
Prior to joining NTRO, Daniel worked across several European universities, including the University of Cambridge, and Imperial College London.
