A high level delegation from Malaysia has visited NTRO headquarters in Port Melbourne to understand more about our work in the road pavement, data and asset management space.
The group from Selangor, including representatives from the State Executive Council of Selangor Darul Ehsan, Selia Group, Kumpulan Semesta and Malaysian Municipal government representatives, spent two days with NTRO.
They explored new and advanced technology in pavements including materials sustainability and resilience, asset management best practice, data and software applications, new bridge technology and paid a visit to NTRO's Accelerated Loading Facility (ALF) - which does accelerated pavement testing - in south-east Melbourne.
The delegation also toured NTRO's state-of-the-art labs facility in Port Melbourne to see some first-hand research into emerging materials being used in road construction, such as crumb rubber, and toured NTRO's flagship infrastructure measurement vehicle – the iPAVE.
