NTRO made waves at the recent ITS Global Mobility conference in Melbourne, where our experts played a pivotal role in shaping the discourse on the future of transportation.

The National Transport Research Organisation (NTRO) made waves at the recent Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Global Mobility conference in Melbourne, where our experts played a pivotal role in shaping the discourse on the future of transportation.

NTRO Senior Professional, Mobility Futures, Kenneth Lewis, delivered a compelling presentation on "Enhancing data to improve decision making," emphasising the critical role of data in optimising transportation systems.

NTRO Senior Technology Leader, Mobility Futures, David Green, and Founder of Transoptim Consulting, Andrew Somers, provided valuable insights into "Guidelines for the Evaluation and Reporting of Automated Vehicle Trials," shedding light on the evolving world of autonomous vehicles.

NTRO Senior Technology Leader, Mobility Futures, Dr. Ronny Kutadinata and Principal Engineer (Network & Performance) at Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, Frans Dekker explored "The impact of using hybrid data for travel time reliability measurement," highlighting the importance of data fusion in transportation analysis. Dr Amolika Sinha and Dr Robert Kochhan presented their work on 20-Minute Neighbourhood Walkable Social Infrastructure.

National Business Group  Leader, Mobility Futures, Renata Berglas participated as a panellist in a discussion on "Low/Zero Emission transport," addressing crucial questions in the field. Dr. Ronny Kutadinata took on the role of moderator in the "Data-Driven Solutions" session, while Renata Berglas assumed the role of moderator once again in the "Case Study on Policy Enhancing ITS" discussion. State Business Leader, Tasmania, Vibeke Matthews facilitated a session focused on "Communication and Smart Infrastructure," collectively showcasing NTRO's multifaceted engagement in shaping the future of transportation through data-driven solutions, policy enhancements, and innovative infrastructure communication.
