About this course
The course will use example case studies and outline the challenges faced, and opportunities existing in, the uptake of recycled materials in road construction. The program will provide an expansive insight to sustainable practices in road construction to experienced practitioners and a comprehensive appreciation to executives and those new to the subject.

- Appreciate the need for the use of recycled materials in road construction in a circular economy
- Know the recycled materials that are commonly used and are merging in road construction
- Understand the benefits and possible challenges of using recycled materials in road construction
- Learn about implementation pathways, including feasibility studies, specification development, environmental and work, health and safety assessments.

- Current and potential road construction applications for recycled materials

- Performance of recycled materials in road construction (case studies, monitoring)
Learning about implementation pathways, including:
- Feasibility studies
