The iLINE captures retro-reflectivity data at normal road speed, enabling rapid, network-wide assessment of line markings visibility at all times of the day and night. This allows asset owners to quickly identify sections where markings have fallen below performance and safety standards and to prioritise remarking where it matters most.

Using front-mounted cameras and dual narrowband strobed illumination units, the iLINE measures the night-time visibility of line markings, road lines, and symbols.
The system emits microsecond light pulses to remove sunlight interference, while different wavelength bands capture how materials reflect light, allowing pigment condition to be distinguished from true reflectivity.
Operating at normal road speeds without the need for lane closures, the iLINE delivers a clear, consistent dataset on line marking condition, supporting targeted maintenance and safer road networks.
