Nathan Wallace commenced employment with NTRO in 2023 as the National Business Group Lead for Asset Performance. Nathan is an Infrastructure Specialist with over 20 years' experience as a Manager, Civil Engineer and Designer. He has previously held positions as a Technical Director and the Manager for several departments both as a client and service provider. He has also held the position of Airfield Facilities Manager and resident Civil Engineer at Melbourne Airport, where he was responsible for all airside civil assets.
Nathan has special competence in airfield/airport facility management, pavement maintenance & inspections, airport operations and staging advice. He brings his valuable experience to the projects he is involved with, from maintenance and design advice to procurement and construction services. He remains hands on and continues to undertake design and construction roles when required. Over the last 15 years Nathan has led major iconic and award-winning infrastructure projects such as the Melbourne Airport Pavement Maintenance Programme (MAP MP) (AAA Major Corporate Project of the Year (Major, Metro and Capital City Airport)), the Sunshine Coast Airport Expansion Project and the P0007 National Airfield Maintenance Works for the Department of Defence.
Nathan has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) degree as well as a Master of Pavement Technology degree.
