Transport underpins economic performance. From freight efficiency to workforce mobility and infrastructure investment, this event explores how transport enables productivity, growth and long-term value across the economy.
Transport sits at the heart of Australia’s productivity, competitiveness and quality of life. As a critical economic enabler, a resilient, efficient and safe transport system underpins everything from the movement of people and goods to the strength of supply chains and regional communities.
NTRO Edge – Transport: The Economic Enabler brings together industry, government and research leaders to explore how transport systems can better support economic outcomes. The event will examine the factors that influence productivity, including freight efficiency, network performance, workforce access and infrastructure investment, as well as the role of data, policy and innovation in enabling better decision-making.
Through practical insights and real-world examples, the discussion will focus on how to optimise existing networks, prioritise investment and deliver measurable economic benefits. It will provide a platform for sharing approaches that move beyond theory, highlighting solutions that can be applied across transport systems to support sustainable growth and long-term value.
