To switch from basic search to advanced search, click on advanced search to the right of the search bar. To switch back, click on simple search.

To return to the main search screen, click on New ATRI Search from the menu along the top.

NTRO Knowledge includes ARRB/NTRO publications plus contract reports

Rail Knowledge Bank includes all rail-related material.

ATRI includes ATRI, NTRO Knowledge, Rail, and journal articles from our subscriptions in the CDI

Entering your terms

How to enter search terms:

For results about pavements type pavements
For results about both pavements and footpaths type pavements footpaths, or pavements AND footpaths
For the exact phrase pavement maintenance type “pavement maintenance
For results with either or both the words asphalt or bitumen asphalt OR bitumen
For results with the word asphalt but not bitumen type asphalt NOT bitumen
For the word stabilisation or stabilization type stabili?ation
For the words pollute, pollutes, pollutant, pollutants, polluting, pollution type pollut*
Parentheses can be used to combine keywords and control the order of your Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) (scooter OR e-bike) AND (crash OR injury)

Tweak your results:

Managing your results

Favourites gives you access to your saved search queries, saved records, and your search history. Access favourites by clicking on the dropdown arrow next to your name when signed in.

Save your search queries and records:

Click on Save query to save the search query.  

Select individual records to save by clicking in the boxes next to each record:

Export to Zotero

Select citations to export. Click on ... in right corner. Click on Export RIS
