NTRO talks decarbonisation, iPAVE for airports, at AAA Conference

NTRO's Richard Wix presents at the 2023 Australian Airports Association Conference in Melbourne

NTRO presented at the 2023 Australian Airports Association Conference in Melbourne on decarbonisation, and using the iPAVE for airport runway checking.

Significant decarbonisation opportunities and the game-changing application of the Intelligent Pavement Assessment Vehicle (iPAVE) in the airports space were the key topics that NTRO brought to the 2023 Australian Airports Association Conference in Melbourne.

NTRO Executive Director, Airports, Jason Sprott and NTRO infrastructure measurement discipline lead Richard Wix presented at the Conference.

Jason spoke of the significant decarbonisation opportunities available right now in physical infrastructure through the higher use of recycled materials.

Richard and Jason both discussed the game-changing iPAVE infrastructure measurement technology now extended to airports within our nation and abroad.

The iPAVE - a high-tech infrastructure measurement vehicle for roads – is now being used by NTRO as a way of condition checking airport runways. The technology has been applied successfully in Victoria and WA already.
