NTRO becomes National Road Safety Week partner

NTRO will become a key partner of road safety advocacy leaders SARAH Group, and its flagship National Road Safety Week.

National Road Safety Week has become the pre-eminent awareness event for road safety in Australia over the past decade.

It was introduced by the SARAH Group, whose founder Peter Frazer OAM used the tragedy of his daughter Sarah’s death in a 2012 road crash to begin a tireless campaign advocating for safer roads and highways in Australia.

NTRO Executive Director Roads and Road Safety Jeff Doyle and Mr Frazer announced the partnership in Sydney during the 2024 National Road Safety Week.

“The NTRO is a data-driven safety-led business. If you marry up the data and the innovation that we do, and align that with Peter’s advocacy, there’s a terrific partnership to be had there,” Mr Doyle said.

Mr Frazer paid tribute to NTRO’s important work in the road safety space.

“The importance of this organisation – you are fundamentally road safety. Everything you do with roads is (involved with) road safety. It’s all about how we ensure people get home and arrive home to their families,” Mr Frazer said.

NTRO works heavily in road safety. It offers data-driven innovative solutions to all levels of government and the private sector, network safety plans and road safety audits, and delivers road safety-based training to the industry.
