Our 60 years of organisational history spans roads, aviation, maritime, and rail, and we are committed to transferring these skills to local communities.

Our services include world-leading pavement data collection, asset performance and management, infrastructure standards and specifications, pavement design and resilience, transport safety, sustainability, green infrastructure, and decarbonisation. Additionally, we provide technical advisory and independent peer review services, as well as project management support.

Infrastructure measurement Using our fleet of road/pavement survey vehicles, we offer a full suite of data collection and analysis services for road, aviation, and maritime pavements. These include roughness, rutting, texture, cracking, ride quality testing, pavement strength testing, asset condition assessment, and road construction quality testing.
Asset management services & systems development Asset management services covering road, aviation and seaports including infrastructure data analysis, technical advisory services, asset / infrastructure inspections and development of asset management systems for road networks.
Transport Safety Transport Safety Audits and assessments, data and evidence-based traffic software implementation, road network safety insights and design.
Standards and Specifications Development and implementation of national infrastructure standards. Independent certification and verification services, and quality assurance and control.
Resilience and ESG Pavement design and resilience, rehabilitation and reconstruction, climate change assessment and adaptation, sustainable infrastructure planning, decarbonisation of materials and ‘green-infrastructure strategies such as ‘Green-Port Strategies’.
Technical Infrastructure Advisory NTRO’s highly trained and qualified practitioners can offer a range of transport infrastructure advisory services to road, aviation and maritime asset owners / managers. We can work in-house with you to ensure improved project outcomes for you major projects.
