NTRO’s National Leader, Sustainability and Materials Performance, Dr Clarissa Han has been involved in various important meetings and workshops in Athens, Greece.
As the PIARC – World Road Association - TC2.4.2 Co-Chair, she organized and delivered with her PIARC Chair and colleagues an PIARC International workshop on the role of new technologies and digital transformation in network operations - opportunities and challenges.
The PIARC TC2.4 members supported and participated in the International Symposium of Navigating the Future Traffic Management held by the International Road Federation.
At the Symposium, Clarissa presented Australian and New Zealand case studies on the new technology solutions to support climate resilience. During the week, Clarissa also conducted two-day Technical Committee meetings to finalise the interim PIARC publications and plan the next step activities including case study collections and international seminars.
As an internationally recognized expert, Clarissa was actively involved in multiple sessions related to AI progress in roads, and ITS solutions for transport decarbonisation and sustainability.
