In June 2024, NTRO released its groundbreaking Strategic Plan in which we articulate our intent to be an innovation-driven global leader in innovative transport solutions. A critical part of our mission is to bring to our local industry and community of practice the best ideas and solutions the world has to offer.
This is precisely the aim of our biennial International Conference. In 2023 we had a very successful event combined with our Gala Dinner and National Transport Research Awards. This issue presents a small selection of the work presented.
Our 2025 Conference will take place from 7 to 9 May 2025 in Port Melbourne. Its theme – The Transport Revolution: Solutions led by Innovation – has once again drawn excellent researchers, practitioners and executives from around the world for the transport industry to learn from.
I look forward to welcoming you in person to that event where you will both learn from your colleagues and impart your own hard-won experience too.
