The 2025 NTRO International Technical Conference program is nearing finalisation, with a range of international speakers and large organisations confirmed as taking part.
Speakers from the International Road Federation (IRF), Research Institute of Highway in China (RIOH), Colas Group, Shandong Port in China, the Road Engineering Association of Asia and Australasia (REAAA), autonomous vehicle innovator TIER IV, Greenwood Engineering and universities in North America, South America, the UK and Asia are already locked in for the event from May 7-9 at the National Transport Research Centre in Port Melbourne.
It adds to a strong program of Australian, NZ and Pacific expertise, including leaders from Queensland’s Department of Transport, SA’s Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT), Tasmania’s Department of State Growth, Tonga’s Ministry of Infrastructure and innovative councils City of Joondalup and City of Gold Coast.
Roads, aviation, ports, autonomous vehicles, transport safety, materials innovation and the latest in data intelligence for use within transport will be among the topics discussed in detail. Continuing professional development (CPD) points are also available for attendees.
To further complement the line-up of international speakers, the conference will host a range of innovative exhibitors including Huesker, SBG Systems, EngAnalysis Pty Ltd, Shandong Hi-Speed Group, Intelligent Engineering Connections and Beijing ZhongTian Road-Tech Co Ltd.
